Celebrating a Remarkable Year at the Brazilian Chamber.
A Festive Gathering to End 2024
Around 80 members and friends joined us at Fino at Fazenda for our Christmas Drinks, an event generously sponsored by our Premium member CI&T
We were honoured by the presence of Ambassador Antonio Patriota and Mrs Tania Cooper Patriota, as well as former British Ambassador to Brazil Peter Wilson and Mrs Monica Wilson.
Highlights of the Evening
Chair Vera Innes thanked members for their support and highlighted the upcoming 200th anniversary of Brazil-UK relations in 2025*. Ambassador Antonio de Aguiar Patriota emphasized plans for greater bilateral integration, including a potential visit from Prime Minister Keir Starmer to Brazil next year to explore opportunities in key economic areas.
After the speeches, the celebration continued with a raffle generously sponsored by Victorinox, where four lucky members of the Brazilian Chamber took home fantastic prizes.
A Year of Collaboration
This year, the Chamber organized several events, showcasing UK-Brazil trade and investment opportunities across sectors such as biofuels, critical minerals, and sustainable infrastructure. The unwavering support of our Advisory Council, Board, Committees, and members made these accomplishments possible.
Looking Ahead
As Brazil prepares to host COP30 and celebrate a diplomatic milestone with the UK, 2025 promises to be a year of deeper cooperation in sustainability and trade.
Thank you to all who joined us for this wonderful evening. Feliz Natal (Happy Christmas), and here’s to a successful New Year!
