Since 1999, the Brazilian Chamber’s flagship event, the Gala Dinner and Personality of the Year Awards, has been the networking, informative and celebratory event of the year for anyone involved or interested in trade and investment ties between Brazil and the United Kingdom. With Cop 30 and the Earthshot Prize both taking place in Brazil in this, the 200th anniversary year of diplomatic relations between the two countries, our event is even more special this year. And we’re marking that with a unique bicentenary approach to our awardees: not this year to individuals, but to two companies who are at the forefront globally of the energy transition: Shell and Raizen.
