Brazil Oil and Gas Scenario: how the country is addressing the energy transition
The Brazilian Chamber of Commerce in Great Britain is hosting an event with Roberto Ardenghy, President/CEO of the Brazilian Institute of Petroleum, Natural Gas and Biofuels (IBP).
Roberto will present a panorama of the oil and gas sector in Brazil and the recent legal and financial developments to foster biofuels in the country. He was an active player at COP 29 in Baku and will also provide insights on COP 29 and the upcoming COP 30, to be held in Brazil.

Currently President/CEO of the Brazilian Institute of Petroleum, Natural Gas and Biofuels (IBP), the main industry association in Brazil, Roberto Ardenghy is a former Brazilian diplomat with 30+ years of experience in government relations, infrastructure, energy, sustainability and oil & gas, both in private and public sectors.Mr. Ardenghy is a reference in energy discussions in Brazil and abroad and he is a frequent speaker in international events related to energy transition, oil & gas and investment opportunities in Brazil such as RIO OIL & GAS 2016/2017, ADIPEC 2020, OTC 2015/2017/2021, GASTECH 2022 and STS Forum (Japan) 2022.
