Debating the UK-Brazil Double Tax Convention

9 February 2023

On November 29th, 2022, the Brazilian and the British governments signed a bilateral agreement on the taxation of income, providing relief from double taxation, and preventing tax avoidance and evasion. While not yet in force, this treaty has the potential to significantly impact cross-border work, investment and commerce.
