This was the first time in the Chamber’s History that the Speaker’s State Rooms has been offered to us, which was done in recognition of the importance of the event that took place 200 years ago and the long-standing friendship between Brazil and the United Kingdom. For this, we are very grateful to Marco Longhi MP, Trade Envoy to Brazil, and to all of those in the British Parliament and sponsors who have made the occasion possible.
